We’ve got about 18 inches (46 cm) of snow on the ground right now.
Here are four short video clips I shot on a beach not far from the houses we rented.
“I’m gonna get that ring on that hook!” -Jane quoting someone else.
I’m not sure if this game has a name or not. Seems simple, but it can be frustrating.
Matt did eventually get the ring on that hook!
I thought I knew good seafood until we went to the Crab Shack for lunch. Me, Matt, and Sheri decided to split a Sampler Platter for three. I think you could have easily fed five people with the amount of food they brought out.
I apologize for my nasally voice, I was still getting over a sinus cold.
The Crab Shack is huge. They say on their website that they can accommodate several hundred people. There were less than 20 people in the restaurant the first day we went for lunch. I’m assuming that’s because we having a late lunch in the off-season. Locals tell stories of seeing the place completely packed in the peak of tourist season.
I love how the tables have a big hole in the middle with a trashcan underneath. It just seems more efficient that way!
Outside the restaurant in a big pool, they have a bunch of alligators. It was a strange feeling looking down at the alligators thinking of how good they would taste knowing they were looking up at me thinking the same thing.
I can’t remember what breed the owner said she was. She was a sweetheart though, and tall! I think her name was Belle.
Yes, that is “You Dropped a Bomb on Me” playing in the background!
